Harvard Yard Child Care Center is looking for an energetic, reflective, and loving person for a floating teacher position. Harvard Yard is a non-profit, parent cooperative that serves Harvard University and the surrounding community. The center is open from 8:30-5:30pm, and is located near Harvard Square (a ten minute walk away). We currently have 5 different classrooms varying in ages of 3 months to 5 years. The floating teacher will have a chance to be in every classroom covering a number of shifts. These shifts will vary day to day. We guarantee 70 hours per every 2 weeks. This is a Monday-Friday (5 days/week) position. This is an immediate opening. Desirable Experience: Teaching experience (early childhood setting preferred) EEC teacher certified or qualified Desirable Skills: Open to a flexible schedule Ability to work effectively with children, families, and teachers Harvard Yard offers an excellent work environment with competitive salary and benefits, including 100% health coverage and 3 weeks vacation.
